I was at a destination wedding this week, and have another one in August, and have just discovered a new great find in wedding planning: The wedding apps. I hadn’t seen this trend before until these two weddings but it is great! The 2.0 of the wedding website, its especially useful for guest who are coming from abroad. It also mixes two things the general information that you would find on the websites, as well as a social media element, with the possibility of all guest posting their pics and sharing moments from the wedding.
Each of my weddings has a different app and here are the two:
This was great as a photo and comment sharer. Its kind of like a Facebook app but for just the wedding guests. It also allows the event details to be posted in it. It has some cool design but I think Appy Couple has better design. This is feel is more social media, and a great way for wedding guests to interact.
It apparently is free and according to them its to: Capture all the amazing photos from your wedding.
Them multiple design options of this app looks great, it can be personalized in many different ways. Il like that you can choose from a color wheel of options.. The app for the wedding I’m going to has everything a wedding website would have: Gallery, Events, Messages, Registry, Travel Info, Toasts and even games.
