Award Action: 2014 Oscar Nominations & the SAG Awards

There has been a lot of award action the last week, so im putting some recaps here. first, Oscar noms were out!! and also the SAGs were handed out.

  • no Saving Mr. Banks! I love that Movie
  • I do think Oprah Winfrey was fabulous in the Butler, a shame she wasn’t nominated!
  • I’m very torn as to what should be the best picture. All the ones I’ve seen that are the favorites, I didn’t really enjoy them that much (gravity, American Hustle, 12 years a Slace) ! clearly an academic year of great cinematography over true emotion for me.
