There has been a lot of award action the last week, so im putting some recaps here. first, Oscar noms were out!! and also the SAGs were handed out.

- I do think Oprah Winfrey was fabulous in the Butler, a shame she wasn’t nominated!
- I’m very torn as to what should be the best picture. All the ones I’ve seen that are the favorites, I didn’t really enjoy them that much (gravity, American Hustle, 12 years a Slace) ! clearly an academic year of great cinematography over true emotion for me.
- What i still haven’t seen that need to see urgently: Dallas Buyers Club, Her, Nebraska, Philomena, The Wolf of Wall Street, August: Osage County
