Diva @ The Victoria Albert Museum

I checked out the Diva exhibition at the Victoria Albert and it was a wonderful exhibition that you should check out. I think my favorite was the audio accompaniments’, you have headphones throughout and in each exhibit you get the music associated with it. It is very appropriate for the show and gives a great background complement.

The exhibit is divided in two floors. The first floor is all about the history of the Diva, how the term came about through Opera and the original historical Divas. Here some picture highlights.

The second floor is all about more modern divas. IT was great. My only qualm is that there were some random divas and some very important divas had a minor showing but that obviously has to do with what probably they had access to. However the Rhianna dresses from the Met Gala and Cher’s Bob Mackie’s were the highlights.
