Vulture asked a great question: What Teen Shows Should I Watch? There were 101 Suggestions. Looking at this list made me realize, teen/high school shows might be one of my favorite genres. My favorites of these? i have actually watched actively 42 of these 101 shows (is that good or embarrassing, don’t really know) so can tell you what my favorites are:
- Gilmore Girls – which by the way brings up the fact that we have to discuss that there are 4 MOVIES COMING OUT IN NETFLIX!!!!!!! Some articles on this:

it then went further and had Vulture’s High-School-TV Showdown: Determining the Best High-School Show of the Last 30 Years – The current contenders for top show: Buffy, Daria, Friday Ngiht Lights, 90210, My So-Called Life, Veronica Mars, Gilmore Girls and Freaks and Geeks. 5 of my favorites are in the top 8 🙂 . This also made me think of the teen/HS movies that I love. It was hard so get it to 10. So My favorite teen/High school Movies (in no particular order)

- Grease
- High school musical (as a stand in for all my favorite Disney channel movies)
- Bring it On
- Heathers
- Breakfast Club
- Footloose
- Mean Girls
honorable mentions (i.e. those that just barely scrapped my top 10): Girls just want to have fun, Easy A, One of the Guys. There are also some other good articles about this (because apparently its not just me that thinks about this things)
