The Oscars came and went, and here is my review.
The Fashion
Top 10 Dresses – it was a lackluster year in terms of fashion but these were my top 10 looks (in order)
-
Gal Gadot in Givenchy Couture – she is gorgeous and really can do no wrong, but add a fab dress and killer jewels and of course she was the best of the night -
Viola Davis in Michael Kors Collection – the color was spectacular -
Nicole Kidman in Armani Prive – impeccable -
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior – i think gold is always the best color for the Oscars -
Zendaya in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture – i kind of want that arm in a dress right now -
Margot Robbie in Chanel -
Allison Janney in Reem Acra -
Gina Rodriguez in Zuhair Murad -
Saoirse Ronan in Calvin Klein -
Abbie Cornish in Elie Saab
Honorable mention of women over 70:
Best dressed man:

Other honorable mentions
The best of the After parties: (which was actually better than the oscars themselves!)
The ones who did better in the afterparties than in the Oscars

Things I liked:
- All the Latin American love. Guillermo del Toro, Coco, Chile’s A Fantastic Woman winning Foreign Language film, it was awesome.
- Lupita Nyong’o and Kumail Nanjiani Dreamers Speach
- Frances Mcdorman speech- she brought the house down
- Tiffany Haddish and maya Rudolph – a killer combination
- Keala Settle’s This is Me Performance
- Rita Moreno is a goddess and her acting like one on stage i loved
- Andra Day and Common’s rendition of “Stand Up for Something” from Marshall
What I didn’t like:
- so many montages, it was just too long a show and the montages really didnt do much
- The In Memoriam Song
- How long it was!
- The movie theater skit just lasted way longer than it should
