During the holidays, I finally went to Atera. it was all in all an absolutely great meal at this two star Michelin restaurant. What did i love: the setting and the beautiful kitchen. The presentation of the food was divine and also our waiter was very helpful and amusing. he was so nice he even got us the card of the maker of the dishware which we were commenting so highly on. the only thing I did not like: the snobbery of the host staff. Within the snobbery, the tea sommelier was a little too full of himself. I definitely recommend it if you get the chance, its not my favorite tasting menu in the city (that prize still lies at the hands of Brooklyn Fare) but this is an excellent and creative dinning night out. This is the pictorial evidence of the 20 courses we had that day (with some comments of my favorites!)

Caviar – this mix of caviar with chocolate and tapenade was interesting and tasty
Black bass- daikon, mushroom
