My take 4 out of 5 – I’m becoming a great fan of Katherine Center’s devastatingly tragic romances. It’s never an easy road but they are so good and the road there is thorned but satisfying. I really enjoyed some of the characters in this one, at least the lead couple and the sister. The extended family and the fiancé – not my cup of tea.

My take: 3 out of 5. It’s a good book its just not that engaging or that interesting. A very stereotypical chasing the dream story which felt a tad slow at points.

My take: 2.5 out of 5. I hate listened this one. I was reading at 2.5x and just wanted it to end so I would know what happened because it being a thriller I was curious. Also I was driving and couldn’t be bothered to change it. It is a serviceable thriller but I was just never engaged. I also didn’t really care for any of the characters, and the few cool plot twists got diluted in the ending which was a bit bizarre.
