World 50 Best Restauranta issued today what I call their the best supproting actors list – i.e the really good restaurants that were not good enough to make it to the top 50, which is their number 51-100. Here is what made the list. My thoughts (because there are many and this is a big indication as to what will be on the 1-50 list):
- Im glad Relae and L’astrance are on this list because my experiences there were not that great
- Loved that Don Julio is on the list, its an amazing restaurant
- I was surprised to see Leo jump into the 100 list – Yei for Bogota’s restaurants!
- Restaurant 108 is in and Im really happy about that it was a great little experience in Copenhagen this year
- I really enjoyed Le Coucou and glad it made the list.

- I still dont understand how Chefs Table is only 68 – but at least it went up 13 spots, but it has no right being below Sud 777, it is not that great!
- Some notables off the list (Which could mean they have landed on the 1-50 spot) include: Disfrutar, Atelier Crenn, The Test Kitchen, LA Colombe, Manresa, Lyle’s and Core. I really hope La Colombe inched up and not down because it was one of the best meals I had last year
- A lot of French traditional restaurants dropping off: Le cinq, Epicure, Le Chautebriand (i was so dissapointed in this one, I’m thinking its falling off, definitely not up)
